State govt. will collapse after elections: BSY

BJP State president and former Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa lashed out at Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, accusing him of using ‘money and muscle power’ to win the Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing a party workers gathering in the city on Sunday, Mr. Yeddyurappa said the audio clippings purported to be conversations between two JD(S) supporters shown in a section of the media were indication they were spending nearly ₹150 crore to win the Mandya parliamentary constituency alone.
“The audio indicates that such an approach is not confined to Mandya alone but is being adopted in Tumakuru and Hassan as well. But Mr. Kumaraswamy is living in a fool’s paradise if he believes that money and muscle power alone can help win elections,” said Mr. Yeddyurappa.
He claimed that the BJP on its own would win more than 300 seats across the country, while in Karnataka the party was sure to pick up at least 22 of 28 seats.
