Mamata Banerjee, Amit Shah engage in verbal duel

As two of the 42 Lok Sabha seats in West Bengal went to poll, the verbal duel between BJP national president Amit Shah and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee continued on Thursday.
Shah during his meetings in Kalimpong and Islampur said that all the Opposition party Mamata planned to ally with left the alliance. "Who are you forming an alliance with? No one is with you. Congress and Communists have left you. The only ones who are left in the alliance are those who are power-hungry and indulge in dynasty politics," Shah said.
Mamata retaliated at her public meeting in Darjeeling, saying that BJP leaders only came to the hills during the polls but she had visited there every three months and worked for their development.
