
Maharashtra: 7 FIRs registered in Mumbai police stations against BJP's Jan Ashirwad Yatra
- The Uddhav Thackeray government of Maharashtra seems to be angry with the Jan Ashirwad Yatra organized by the BJP amid the Coronavirus crisis.
- 7 FIRs have been registered in different police stations of Mumbai for violating Kovid protocols on BJP workers against taking out a yatra in the economic city of Mumbai.
- These FIRs have been registered at Vileparle, Kherwadi, Mahim, Shivaji Park, Dadar, Chembur and Govandi police stations.
- Section 188 of IPC, Section 51 of NDMA Act and Section 135 of BP Act have been imposed on the organizers.
- Letting you know, on August 16, Jan Ashirwad Yatra was taken out in support of Union Minister Kapil Patil, in which hundreds of BJP workers participated.
