Discord in Haryana Congress after Punjab! Will the state president of the party change?

- This is because the supporters of former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda, MLA and leader of the State Congress Committee are demanding the removal of Kumari Selja from the post.
- They want to see their leader Hooda in a bigger role. Today, 19 MLAs met Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal.
- Earlier on Friday, the MLAs had a meeting with the party's Haryana in-charge Vivek Bansal in Delhi.
- Congress sources said that the MLAs want strong leadership in the state. They are lobbying to demand the removal of Kumari Selja as well as giving big responsibility to Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
