
Telangana government to give Rs 10 lakh each to poor Dalit families in the state
- For the welfare of Dalits, the Telangana govt has taken a revolutionary decision today.
- The govt has decided that every poor Dalit family in the state will be given Rs 10 lakh each under the Dalit Empowerment Scheme.
- The govt has prepared to spend 40 thousand crore rupees on this scheme in the next four years. Every year 100-100 families will be selected from each assembly.
- Under this scheme, by spending Rs 1200 crore this year, Rs 10 lakh each will be sent to the accounts of 11,900 families.
- CM K Chandrashekhar Rao said, "This year if needed, Rs 300 cr more will be spent. He has also ordered the officials to implement it transparently."
