Covid is a good excuse in all cases- Supreme Court reprimands Tamil Nadu EC
- The Supreme Court has directed the State Election Commission of Tamil Nadu to complete the local body elections by September 15.
- A division bench of Justice Hemant Gupta and Justice Aniruddha Bose has passed this order.
- Polling is to be held in 9 newly formed districts of the state.
- The Tamil Nadu EC had said that the cases of corona are increasing, in such a situation it will be difficult to conduct elections.
- Reprimanding the EC of Tamil Nadu, the Supreme Court said that Covid is a good excuse in all cases.
