Karnataka: RTI bus employees strike for the implementation of 6th Pay Commission, services hit
A massive strike has been going in Karnataka. The bus services were hit today for the third consecutive day.
The RTC bus employees have been striking for their demand to implement the Sixth Pay Commission report, which the govt has denied.
Letting you know, the Sixth Central Pay Commission will not only evolve a proper pay package for the govt employees but will make recommendations rationalizing the governmental structure to improve the delivery mechanisms for providing better services to the common man.
The employees belonging to all the four transport corporations did not attend duty due to which the buses remained off the roads across the state.
After threats from ESMA and 'no work no pay', some of the employees returned to work and buses are operating on some routes.
