Maharashtra is in a "fit position" to impose President's rule, claims BJP
BJP's Maharashtra unit chief Chandrakant Patil today claimed that two more ministers of the state will have to resign within 15 days and that the state is in a "fit position" to impose President's rule.
He made this remark a day before suspended policeman Sachin Waje claimed in a letter that former home minister Anil Deshmukh of the state had asked for 2 crore rupees to continue his service in the Mumbai police.
Letting you know, senior NCP leader Deshmukh resigned from the post of Home Minister on Monday.
The Supreme Court has refused to restrain or interfere in the investigation, saying that the CBI probe against Anil Deshmukh would continue.
The top court asked, "What is wrong in this, should such cases not be investigated by an independent investigating agency?"
