Youths oppose the privatization of PSUs, make #StopSellingIndia top trend on Twitter
Niti Ayog, a body headed by the Prime Minister, has short-listed 12 public sector undertakings (PSUs) to be privatized.
The social media giant, Twitter is flooded with thousands of tweets against privatization. Meanwhile, hashtag #StopSellingIndia has become the top trend.
A Twitter handle named MP Students unity tweeted, "Don't sell PSUs just to hide your failures. India not for sale. #StopSellingIndia."
Another Twitter user wrote, "This government is not just about privatization. The real motto of this government is: NATIONALISE LOSS, PRIVATISE PROFIT to benefit the people who fund their politics."
A user named Singh Saab wrote, "Dear Indians, Are you ready to sacrifice your hard-earned 90 lakh crores that are deposited in PSBs...? If not, come with us.... Let's stop them from selling our nation."
