This came after he had a meeting with BJP leadership yesterday in Delhi regarding the resign.
Trivendra Singh Rawat handed over his resignation to Governor Baby Rani Maurya.
Letting you know, Dhan Singh Rawat is in the race to replace Rawat as the Chief Minister. He also took a private chopper to Dehradun this afternoon.
According to the reports, Trivendra was rated 'below average' by party MLAs, feeling that his leadership may bring down the BJP govt in Uttarakhand polls.
