PM Narendra Modi, Union Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman have clearly stated that the govt has no control over prices.
Meanwhile, the opposition and the public are strongly opposing the Center. Farmer leader Naresh Tikait has also questioned the Modi govt.
He tweeted, "Public welfare cannot be expected from the government selling oil Rs 35 for Rs. 100."
