AIMIM to contest Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, confirms Asaduddin Owaisi

  • After winning in the Gujarat local body polls, the All India Majlis e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) will contest Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu as well.
  • This was announced today by the AIMIM chief Assaduddin Owaisi by saying that some of his party's candidates won in Gujarat local body polls.
  • Owaisi said that he will visit Rajasthan today to speak with the party members, adding that the party workers are working hard in UP.
  • Letting you know, the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections are going to be held on April 9, after which the counting will take place on May 2.
  • Letting you know, Owaisi also spoke on PM Modi taking vaccine shot. He said that everyone should take the vaccine to protect themselves from the coronavirus.
