
Maharashtra leaders protest against rising fuel prices, ride cycles till state assembly
- The rising fuel prices have become a highlighted issue for the past month. The opposition has been continuously attacking the Centre over the same.
- To oppose the fuel price hike, MVA leaders arrived at the state Assembly in Mumbai by riding bicycles on the first day of the state Assembly's budget session.
- Among those who took part in the rally were Maharashtra ministers Balasaheb Thorat, Aslam Shaikh, and Yashomati Thakur, and Mumbai Congress chief Bhai Jagtap.
- State Congress chief Nana Patole has slammed the Centre for mocking the public and committing the crime of snatching food from their mouths.
