- Crime is at its peak in Bihar as Congress MLA Santosh Mishra's nephew was shot dead in broad daylight in Sasaram.
- The MLA's nephew Sanjeev Mishra was coming out of his house in Parsathua when three miscreants from the bike fired at him.
- After being shot, Sanjeev fainted and the nearby people rushed him to a hospital where doctors declared him dead.
- After the murder, a heavy police force has been deployed in the village. DSP Vinod Kumar Rawat also questioned a family member.
- Santosh Mishra said, "When the nephew of the MLA is not safe in this government, what will be the situation of the common people?"
