The rising fuel prices in India have been a major concern for the past few days. The opposition has also been protesting against the same.
Now, Union Minister for oil, Dharmendra Pradhan has asked his counterparts in petroleum to increase their oil production.
He asked this so that Indian purchasers may get relief from the increasing fuel price hikes.
Pradhan said that the rapid price hike is because the major oil-producing countries decided to cut the production amid COVID 19 pandemic.
Letting you know, petrol price in Delhi stands at Rs 90.93 per litre while that of diesel is at Rs 81.32.
