Fuel price may fall in April, have asked counterparts in oil to boost oil production: Dharmendra Pradhan

  • The rising fuel prices in India have been a major concern for the past few days. The opposition has also been protesting against the same.
  • Now, Union Minister for oil, Dharmendra Pradhan has asked his counterparts in petroleum to increase their oil production.
  • He asked this so that Indian purchasers may get relief from the increasing fuel price hikes.
  • Pradhan said that the rapid price hike is because the major oil-producing countries decided to cut the production amid COVID 19 pandemic.
  • Letting you know, petrol price in Delhi stands at Rs 90.93 per litre while that of diesel is at Rs 81.32.
