- "My condolences to all their loved ones. We stand with you in this difficult time," he added.
- A violent face-off took place between Indian and Chinese troops because China attempted to "unilaterally change" the status quo during de-escalation in Eastern Ladakh.
- The Indian Army suffered 20 casualties whereas Chinese troops suffered 43 casualties.
