Bihar: Returned Migrants Request Govt to Restart Industries
- Migrant workers who have returned to Bihar have urged Nitish govt to provide job opportunities to them.
- These migrants are seeking revival of industries, closed mills, workshops & factories so that they do not have to move to other states for living.
- At present these migrants are only dependent on manual jobs under MGNREGA.
- A migrant said that the state government can establish agro-based industries, which will transform the rural economic scenario completely.
- While Industries minister Shyam Rajak claimed that the government was making a database of all the migrants.
