With 6 new cases, Bihar's tally of COVID-19 has reached 1579 and 9 people have succumbed to the virus.
Sanjay Kumar, Principal Secretary (Health) tweeted, "6 more COVID-19 +ve cases in Bihar taking the total to 1579."
"The details are as follows.we are ascertaining their trail of infection," he added.
He further said, "these are results of late last night received in the morning."
All the 6 people are male and between the age group of 17 to 42 and hail from the Darbhanga district.
