Coronavirus: 591 Fresh Cases, Total Reaches 5865

  • With 591 fresh cases in the last 24 hours, the total number of confirmed cases in India reached 5865.
  • The death toll has also risen to 169 with 20 deaths in the last 24 hours across the country.
  • Out of the 20 deaths in 24 hours, 8 were from Maharashtra, 3 each from Gujarat and MP, 2 from J&K and 1 each from Punjab, UP, Karnataka, and TN.
  • With 72 deaths Maharashtra reported the highest number of deaths, followed by Gujarat and MP at 16 each, and Delhi at 9.
  • The highest number of confirmed cases in the country is from Maharashtra at 1,135, followed by Tamil Nadu at 738 and Delhi with 669 cases.
