MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday announced free ration for a month to all BPL families, in the wake of lockdown.
He further added that ₹1,000 would be provided to labourers as support through the State Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
CM also announced to provide ₹2,000 for two months to each Saharia, Baiga and Bharia family.
Besides this, old age and social security pensioners would receive an advance amount of ₹1,200 for two months.
Mr. Chouhan also assured that the government would not let any shortage of essential goods.
