The Corona infection led to the first death in Madhya Pradesh and 12th in the country on Wednesday.
A 65-year-old woman from Ujjain succumbed during treatment.
He had trouble breathing earlier and was referred to MY Hospital in Indore three days ago.
Upon finding the suspect, the sample was sent to Corona for investigation, which was reported positive late on Tuesday night.
The police then sealed his residence and the area around it.
