J&K administration decides to close government offices till April 14
- The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Wednesday decided to close all government offices till April 14, except those providing essential services.
- There is heavy deployment of police and paramilitary forces to ensure compliance of the 21-day countrywide lockdown in UT.
- Most highways, streets and pedestrian malls were kept in tight security.
- People have also taken a pledge to ensure that they remain indoors to break the chain of coronavirus infection.
- Till now the union territory has reported seven positive cases of COVID-19.
