The Maharashtra BJP suspended two local-body leaders.
The Parbhani-based Selu Municipal Council’s chairperson Vinod Borade and Palam Municipal Council’s deputy chairperson Balasaheb Rokade has been suspended by the party.
The suspension has occurred because both passed resolutions against CAA.
BJP spokesperson Keshav Upadhye posted the suspension letters on his Twitter handle.
The letters did not specify the period of suspension.
