- Assembly membership of Unnao Rape Convict Kuldeep Singh Sengar, MLA from Bangarmau has been cancelled now.
- Notification has been issued regarding the cancellation of membership of Sengar, who is in jail now.
- Sengar, convict in the rape case, has been sentenced to life imprisonment by the court, after which this action has been taken.
- The principal secretary of the assembly told that from the day of the declaration of the sentence, the membership of Sanger will be deemed to be over.
- On August 1, BJP had expelled Sengar by canceling his party membership after being accused of rape.
