DYIF takes out march against NRC, NPR, and Unemployment, 400 arrested
- In Belapur, Mumbai, the Democratic Youth Federation activists took out a march against unemployment, privatization of govt assets and NRC.
- Police tried to stop the protest, while DYIF secretary Preeti Shekhar had taken permission from the police for the march.
- Preity Shekhar said that since the Protest was started, the police created problems, they blamed the state govt for this.
- After the police could not stop the protest, about 400 workers were arrested by increasing the number of security forces.
- Significantly, during the last two months, demonstrations have been taking place across the country regarding NRC-CAA-NPR, police are arresting people.
