The Delhi Court adjourned the hearing of the petition filed by Nirbhaya's parent for a fresh death warrant for the 4 convicts till Monday at 2 PM.
The court said that Article 21 of the Constitution protects the life and liberty of a condemned prisoner till his last breath.
After hearing this Nirbhaya's mother Asha Devi said, "I am a victim’s mother, and even I have some rights. I would request you to please issue the death warrant."
Lawyer of Nirbhaya's parents said that convicts are taking judiciary for granted as the court has postponed the date thrice.
Even public prosecutor Irfan Ahmed demanded that a fresh death warrant should be issued.
