- Nirbhaya's mother Asha Devi broke down in Delhi court and pleaded with folded hands in front of the judge.
- She said that she has been seeking the date of the hanging of the 4 convicts for years now.
- In the court Asha Devi, "I have been asking the court for one-and-a-half years to get their legal remedies cleared."
- "You didn't issue a death warrant date last time because there was one week given by HC. Now they are here without a lawyer," she said.
- She further pleaded to the court and said, "I am the mother of the victim. I'm here with folded hands asking for justice. What about my rights."
