On Thursday, PM Modi said that the world is eager to know Mahatma Gandhi, therefore, it is India's responsibility to keep reminding the world of his abiding relevance and his vision.
PM Modi made this statement at the second meeting of the National Committee of Gandhi@150 held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
All citizens need to imbibe Gandhian thought and vision in their lives and take it ahead in the times to come, PM Modi said.

Talking about the program PM Modi said, "It has become a program of the common man and a matter of pride for every Indian."
PM Modi also thanked Portuguese PM Antonio Costa the only foreign minister who took part in this meeting for personally looking into commemorative activities both in India and Portugal.
