BJP Pulls Out an Old Video of Ex PM Manmohan Singh Supporting CAA
- On Thursday BJP circulated an old video of former PM Manmohan Singh speaking in support of providing citizenship to minorities of Pak, Afg, and Bangladesh.
- The BJP tweeted, "in 2003 Ex-PM Manmohan Singh asked for a liberal approach to granting citizenship to minorities, who faced persecution, in neighboring countries.
- Defending the CAA BJP further tweeted, "Citizenship Amendment Act does just that..."
- The BJP used this video to call out 'double standards' of congress which is aggressively protesting against the citizenship law.
