Fielding Women in Politics a Revolutionary Step: Naveen Patnaik
- CM Naveen Patnaik said by fielding women in one-third of Parliamentary seats of the State his govt has created a revolutionary trend.
- He thanked the vigilance of women delegates for making the UDHR gender-neutral and providing the same rights to women as is guaranteed to men.
- Patnaik said, “The critical mass of women in the legislature and in other spheres of collective life is now understood as a step forward to the cause of human rights.”
