Kerala BJP president may be the next governor of Mizoram
- Kerala BJP unit president P S Sreedharan Pillai has been appointed as the governor of Mizoram.
- Speaking about the post, Pillai said that the party has shown interest over giving him this responsibility after having faith in him.
- "Party has given me responsibility and I will take it. My tenure as BJP chief was about to get over. The Prime Minister had a few days ago spoken to me about the posting," Pillai told PTI.

- Currently, the Assam governor is serving the additional responsibilities of the Mizoram governor.
