Congress and JD(S) to Fight Alone in the By-Polls

Congress and JD(S) have decided not to ally for the upcoming by-polls in the state.
The opposition leader Siddaramaiah and former CM Kumaraswamy have hinted at seeking a fresh mandate if any of the parties gets a majority.
Kumaraswamy however, said that he doubts the December elections will happen as the election commission is controlled by the union government.

Let us tell you that the JD(S) is looking to overthrow the government and force a mid-term election to get a complete mandate.
With this decision, it is evident that there is a rift between the former allies Congress and JD(S).
