AAP Leader Asks Center to Provide 10 Trucks of Onion

AAP leader Imran Hussain asked the Centre to supply at least 10 trucks of onion every day.
The demand is made to help his govt provide to the increased demand of the kitchen staple at a controlled price in the capital.
In his letter to Ram Vilas Paswan, Hussain said NAFED has not been able to keep up with the growing demand.

He also requested the agency supply at least 10 trucks of onions every day for the next 10 days.
Delhi govt gets onion from NAFED at the rate of Rs 15.6 per kilo and sells it through around 250 mobile vans across the city at a subsidized rate of Rs 23.9 per kg.
