
BJP and AAP assured all possible help to Delhi’s Valmiki community
- Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said that the Valmiki community has been devoid of quality life and development by previous governments in the past 70 years.
- He was speaking at Valmiki Jayanti celebrations at Lal Qila.
- By listing various schemes Kejriwal said that his was the only government that worked towards the progress of the Valmiki community.
- On the other hand, in a separate programme, Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari felicitated 500 women from the community, listened to their grievances and assured all possible help.
- He also asked people to follow the ideals of Maharishi Valmiki and take inspiration from his life and teachings.
