CM Gehlot directs for regular progress review of budget announcements
- A review meeting on implementation of amended budget 2019-20 was recently organized at the Chief Minister's office in the chairmanship Ashok Gehlot in Jaipur.
- In the meeting, Chief Minister said that the aspirations of the people and timely implementation of budget announcements should be ensured as per their expectations.
- He instructed the Chief Secretary to regularly review the progress of budget announcements at his level.
- CM said that the amended budget was passed at the end of July which left less time for their implementation.
- The Chief Minister also directed that such announcements related to construction works which require more time for completion should get early approval.
