CM Gehlot directs for regular progress review of budget announcements

A review meeting on implementation of amended budget 2019-20 was recently organized at the Chief Minister's office in the chairmanship Ashok Gehlot in Jaipur.
In the meeting, Chief Minister said that the aspirations of the people and timely implementation of budget announcements should be ensured as per their expectations.
He instructed the Chief Secretary to regularly review the progress of budget announcements at his level.
CM said that the amended budget was passed at the end of July which left less time for their implementation.
The Chief Minister also directed that such announcements related to construction works which require more time for completion should get early approval.
