State PWD minister G. Sudhakaran made controversial statement against the UDF candidate in Aroor.
In reference against Shanimol Usman, G. Sudhakaran said,“Aroor was not a constituency for ‘Putanas’ to win.”
The minister also alleged that the UDF was trying to secure victory using crocodile tears and lies.

G. Sudhakaran wondered how Shanimol Usman, who says that no development is taking place in Aroor, will bring development to the constituency.
He added that Aroor needed another MLA from the Left Democratic Front (LDF).
