To combat the growing pollution levels in Delhi the Delhi government has decided to distribute over 40 lakh masks to govt school students and their parents.
According to sources, the govt will also give them to people who are exposed to the polluted air.
The move is expected to roll out before Diwali when the air tends to fall into 'very poor' and 'severe' categories.

A govt official said that they are going to procure about 50-60 Lakh best quality 'N-95' anti-pollution masks.
The distribution of masks is one among the seven-point action plan made by chief minister Arvind Kejriwal to combat air pollution this winter.
