Differences in Durga Pooja Committee Over Inviting Amit Shah

There are some differences in the Pooja Committee over inviting Home Minister Amit Shah to inaugurate the Durga Puja festival on October 1.
A dispute erupted between members of the BJ Block Durga Puja at Salt Lake when some of them claimed that they were not approached before inviting Shah.
UJ Shankar Ghosh Dastidar, chairman of the BJ Block Puja Committee said that Shah has agreed to inaugurate the puja at 7 in the evening on Tuesday.

He further said that for security reasons they have not disclosed the details with all the members and local people.
Another member of the committee said that they do not want to give political color to the 3 decades old BJ Block Puja.
