CAG report exposes many flaws of the Nitish Govt regarding financial management

  • The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) has exposed many flaws in its latest report.
  • This is regarding the financial management of the Nitish Government of Bihar.
  • The report stated that the utilization certificate amounting to Rs 79 thousand 690 crores is not being given even after repeated requests.
  • It considers that the pending utilization certificate may be fraught with the risk of misuse and embezzlement of that amount.
  • At the same time, the advance amount of 9155 crores was also pending due to the non-presentation of the DC Bill.
