Jaya Bachchan distributes chocolates, biscuits to the 12 suspended MPs
- In the winter session of Parliament, 12 MPs of opposition parties were suspended for the entire session for indecent conduct in the Rajya Sabha.
- All these 12 MPs are sitting on a sit-in protest in front of the Gandhi statue in the Parliament complex.
- Actress Jaya Bachchan, a Rajya Sabha MP from the SP, distributed chocolates and biscuits to them.
- Jaya Bachchan encouraged them and said that 'it is very important for your energy, so that you keep sitting on dharna against the government'.
- Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi tweeted on the demand of an apology from the suspended MPs and said, 'Who's apology? To raise public opinion in Parliament? Not at all!'
