SP National President Akhilesh Yadav has announced a 'Kisan Shahadat Samman Rashi' of Rs 25 lakh.
This amount will be given to the families of the farmers killed during the farmers' agitation if his govt is formed in UP in 2022.
He issued a statement and said that the life of a farmer is priceless because he grows 'food' for the lives of 'others'.
Akhilesh said, "We promise that in 2022 if our party comes to power, the martyrs of the farmers' movement will be given Rs 25 lakhs."
