- Many reactions have been coming to the fore after the withdrawal of the 3 controversial farm laws by the PM Narendra Modi's govt.
- Congress leader Jignesh Mevani has tweeted, "The announcement of the govt to withdraw all the three anti-farmer laws due to the danger seen in the elections in Punjab and UP is welcome."
- Jignesh added, "Had this decision been taken earlier, inspired by human sensibility rather than electoral mathematics, the lives of hundreds of farmers would have been saved."
- He wrote, "Give 1 crore compensation to the martyrs of the farmers' movement: New Delhi by reducing the budget of 20,000 crores for the construction of Parliament building and 1 lakh crores for the bullet train."
- He tweeted, "We demand one crore compensation to the families of the farmers who were martyred in the farmers' movement. Is!"
