
Arunachal Pradesh to shut 400 schools over not having single admission
- Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu has said that the state govt will reform the entire education system.
- The CM has said that schools are being shut where there has not been a single admission.
- He said that there are more than 3000 govt schools in the state, which was only 3 at the time of independence.
- CM Pema Khandu said that despite this, the quality of education has not improved as expected.
- He stated, "Each of the 60 assembly constituencies will select one school and develop it as a 'model school'."
