BJP leader opposes Kangana Ranaut's 'freedom' statement
- Former UP unit BJP president Laxmikant Bajpai has opposed to Kangana Ranaut's controversial statement.
- He said, "It is not right to raise a question mark on the country's independence in 1947 after thousands of sacrifices."
- Bajpai said, "There is no doubt that after Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister in 2014, there has been a lot of reforms in the country."
- He said, "Many works of public interest have been done, but due to this the sacrifice of people in the freedom struggle cannot be forgotten."
- It is worth noting that actress Kangana Ranaut had reportedly said, "That was not freedom, it was begging and the freedom that we got was given in 2014."
