- Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala has taken a jibe at govt over the privatisation of banks in the country.
- Surjewal tweeted, "If you lie then with such ease- Sinking money of LIC and other govt institutions were invested in private banks - YES Bank, IDBI Bank."
- He added, "Taxed on withdrawing and depositing own money from ATM/Bank. Tell me so clearly!"
- Surjewala wrote, "This is the real condition of banks in 7 years:• Banks' write-off amount (NPA) by March 2022 will be ₹ 10,00,000 crore."
