Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra met ASHA workers who were suffering from police brutality.
She met them in the program of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and listened to their problems.
She said, "Congress party will fight the battle of ASHA workers, by providing them justice and their rights."
Priyanka had on Wednesday said that Asha sisters and Anganwadi workers will be given an honorarium of Rs 10,000 per month if the govt is formed in UP.
She had tweeted, "Every attack on the Asha sisters by the UP government is an insult to the work done by them."
