Haryana released the 'poisonous' water in the Yamuna, alleges Delhi minister
- Delhi environment minister Gopal Rai has targeted the Haryana govt over the issue of pollution of the Yamuna river ahead of Chhath Puja.
- Rai said, "The 'ship' of water you see inside the Yamuna has not been abandoned by the people of Delhi."
- He added that this water has been released by Haryana and there is a BJP govt in Haryana.
- Rai said that when this matter had gone to the court earlier, it also said that Haryana cannot release water like this.
- On the other hand, BJP has alleged, "You had promised in the election that you will clean the Yamuna but even after 7 years there is so much dirt in it."
