- Anupam tweeted, "On this day, 5 years ago, Modi had attacked the vehicle of the economy."
- He added, "It was said that terrorism, Naxalism will end, black money and fake currency will be destroyed. But the opposite happened."
- Anupam said, "The employment business, GDP, all got ruined. The country went back two decades. The whims of an emperor pushed India into darkness!"
