Lakhimpur Kheri violence- Supreme Court to hear the case today
- The Supreme Court will today hear the case of violence in Lakhimpur Kheri, UP.
- During the farmers' protest, 8 people including four farmers, were killed in that violence.
- The matter will be heard by Chief Justice NV Raman, Justice Surya Kant and Justice Hima Kohli.
- Earlier, on October 26, the bench has asked the UP govt to provide security to the witnesses.
- The Supreme Court had also ordered the state government to record the statements of other witnesses.
