Samajwadi Party MLA, Rakesh Pratap Singh from the Gauriganj area of Amethi district has been arrested by the police.
He was fasting in Lucknow after resigning from the membership of the assembly after being upset over the non-construction of roads in his area.
Now, Rakesh has been admitted to the hospital due to ill health. Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Ram Govind Chaudhary has warned the govt of agitation from the House to the road.
Chaudhary said that the Yogi government should immediately accept their demands, leaving dogma.
He further added that SP will launch a movement from the house to the road against the government on this issue.
